Business Profile/Information ...
Perma-Cal® Industries has been a leader in quality and design of Direct Drive pressure gauges for over 35 years. Reliable in the most rugged environments, Perma-Cal® gauges are designed to withstand hostile applications, including intense vibration and overpressure. For this reason, Perma-Cal® gauges are well suited for the Industrial, Energy & Power, Aerospace and Petrochemical Industries. There are 3 primary factors separating Perma-Cal from its competitors.
· Durability: Manufactured using Direct Drive technology, Perma-Cal® gauges feature only one moving part; no linkages, gears or liquid fill. This design allows the gauge to endure rugged environmental conditions unsuited for traditional c-tube type gauges.
· Longevity: Perma-Cal® gauges are built to outlast their competitors significantly reducing the ongoing cost of ownership. The Direct Drive design produces a gauge which can withstand more cycles and perform without liquid fill. This eliminates the risk of leakage, the primary culprit contributing to the premature failure of liquid filled gauges.
· 100% American Made: Proudly, Perma-Cal® manufactures its gauges in Minden, NV using only American made parts. Aspects of the manufacturing process not completed in house are outsourced to support local small businesses.

Business History ...
Perma-Cal® Corporation began in August 1980. Originally, the Perma-Cal® product line was a division of the American Standard Corporation located in Monrovia, CA. In the early 1970's, American Standard was purchased by HTL Industries which then in 1980 sold the Perma-Cal® product line to several former HTL employees. From August 1980 through October 1994, the company remained in Monrovia. In order to take advantage of the pro-business climate of Nevada, and to get away from the punitive business and personal taxation policies of California, the company moved to Minden, NV and became Perma-Cal® Industries, Inc. in November 1994.
